Instead of $19k + tax, tags, title, etc. + questions of workmanship/reliability/history, I'd spend 1/2 that and have a repainted SVT with 3L and with tons of goodies instead.

My bet is that he is reading oil pressure at the accumulator and when the engine turns off it reads the max pressure at that point (due to the accumulator having a solenoid valve on it. If this was done when the engine was still cold and just after revving it, the accumulator would probably hold the pressure above 100psi (as I have seen over 100psi onmy guage if I hit too high a revs while it's still cold, even 3500rpm's will get you there!)
But this is just my assumption, perhaps after all, the guage is indeed fux0red!

i think that person should wrap it up in bubble wrap after draining everything and then leave it for his great great great grand children who would be really rich once they sell it at some whacked out version of barret jackson in like 20 yrs...
