Even though he claims that the body has less than a thousand miles, I think it is legal to reset the odometer in Ohio when an engine swap is done with a complete overhaul...
I can't remember...
I live a half hour away- maybe I should go look at this thing in person.

If I put that much money in a car, I sure as sh!t wouldn't put a fram oil filter on it.
Without seeing it in person, it may be too good to be true, but then again, maybe its all good, anythings possible considering that the world is full of stupid people. Maybe the previous owner was an idiot whos only redeeming quailty was good taste in cars. But the dealer selling this has to be making tons of money on it. You know they didn't give the guy crap for it, and now they're asking this crazy amount.

a 4-5 year car with 1100 miles on? White residue? Most likely DUST!
And there are lot of people who don't post on sites like these but still come here for products and information!

Guys its at a reputable Dealership, they could lose their ford franchise if caught commiting odometer fraud, not to mention the legal charges and fines that could be brought against them. I just don't see them doing that.
Also, as for putting that much into a car only to sell it... anyone ever dump all their money into the pit and realize they can't afford it anymore? I know I have. -Mark

I still go back to the old saying, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." Now, having said that, if it's not really an 1100-mile car, then someone has done a KILLER job of bringing it back into like-new condition.

Even so, I believe the title gets flagged if you change the odometer out legally.

Yeah you should! Only a 1/2 hour? Bring the digital camera, and take some better pictures too!

It was a leased vehicle for two years, and then a lien showed up in 2002. Something is very fishy. AutoCheck shows the following:
