if your car comes stock with a spoiler, there isn't a third brake light on the backdash.

My SVT has the same spoiler, and no I do not have a brake light on the rear package tray.

It's easy to make these cars look perfect with crapy non close up pics,
and in some cases interiors as well,(my car has 66k on it and the interior is immaculate).
...but I can believe it,
there is a guy on the yahoo NC ceg mail list with a 98 CSVT with 7K on it...but on the other hand his car is stock which is why I question this.

Not 100% true, ford has been known to do stupid things like that. Haven't seen it on a contour yet, but they did it with the taurus and sable. Just cause nobody has stepped forward with it, doesn't mean its not true. I am sure there is someone out there. Just like when everyone said there was no midnight blue interior on a nonsvt, when there was.
As for the 1k, thats gotta be on the new motors. With the oil setup, they had to use it for track racing, There is no point to spending so much on an oil pressure system and not racing it hard around corners. I have done quite the bit to my car with corning, and yet to see these problems. I know it doens't take much.

another thing I noticed was that the weather strips around the car, their all brand new (black) around the windsheild, windows , the roof ones and the back window..all new..and even the interior carpets, its like better then my house carpet!

but look at the picture where the rear seem looks "filled" what about the passenger side...it isn't. What's the deal. If it's too good to be true...it probably is.

I noticed that too. And with "only" 1171 miles on it, the car already has the traditional SVT ass sag going on. So many questions left unanswered...
