So my car is not making full compression in cylinder #3...which means I'll have to take the head off again to see what the deal is. Two mechanics I have talked to want to charge upwards of $1200+...that is pushing the total value of what the car is worth.
So I have 3 options:
-pay the money to have it fixed
-let it go to the shop for a couple hundred bucks
-have someone help me fix it at my home
I obviously failed once at fixing it myself...I don't want to sell and would really like to have this car back up and running again. So, are there any good mechanics in the area that could fix this car...for a hell of alot less than $1200?
