Read this, and lets discuss...
http://www.thisislondon.com/til/jsp/modules/Article/print.jsp?itemId=15201282My take on things really gets skewed when I read this line:
"The RAC Foundation said police in Durham had examined blood samples from 23 people killed in road accidents. Fifty per cent had traces of cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy or other drugs. ".
This is an inflated fact, the way I see it. While alcohol is in your bloodstream you remain intoxicated, but drug traces stick around a lot longer, longer than the high lasts. For example, THC stays in your blood for about 30 days, depending on your metabolism, and coke for 3 days. Now, simply because I smoked one 2 weeks ago, and then got into an accident, does not mean the accident was drug related. These "facts" simply use only portions of the truth to state their message, which I guess is standard in todays world.
What do ya'll think?
