4 grand on a tranny wholy crap....everytime i changed my tranny (3 times )it cost 3 grand....

Yeah, but it was the tranny plus work needed when the tranny was pulled. The bozo who replaced the toothless flexplate/flywheel bent the steering components, broke the starter, and didn't replace the engine mounts, which had no rubber in them at all. He did all those when he did the tranny. Damned fine guy, actually. Very good at what he does. Also,the tranny has the upgraded Furd parts, so its a lot more robust now....
If only I could start the SOB... (Sigh)

I had an intermitent problem where my fans wouldn't work and yes it turned out to be the ECT (engine coolant temp sensor). This part is also $35-$40 + coolant. Pretty easy to replace, just in a realy bad spot. I used a scanner to diagnose this.
Yes you can swap the high and low fan relays to test with as they are the same.
