Any chance of caster adjustment as well? I think any Contour set up for improved handling could benefet from a little more caster.

Do you know of a time frame on these? I need to replace my LCA's (4 bolt style) and can go without the tired ones on my car, if I could get a good deal on these if all works out.

Just to add something here...If I'm not mistaken I think it was Leo Capaldi's son, Craig, that posted on here or NECO that adjusting the camber on the conrol arms isn't the best idea b/c is can adversely affect the drive shaft by changing the length between the trans and the hub. Don't quote me on that but I'd think it would be worth while looking into that.

We will definitely do some searching and research into this issue.

There is already an adjustable camber/caster kit for the Contour (I have a set for both of my Contours) so I dont think it is necessary to make the control arms adjustable.

That said I am interested in a set of lightweight, stiff lower control arms that use Heim joints instead of rubber or neoprene bushings. I agree with DemonSVT though, for $500 the control arms had better be made out of tubular aluminum. For tubular steel the price should be around $350-$400.

Billet aluminum.

Other apps (higher volume of course) have aluminum LCA's available for $300-350 a set.

Depending on weight, I probably wouldn't even be interested in heavier tube steel units. Weight is a big deciding factor for me.

Unsprung weight is the ultimate enemy. Even an extra 4-5lbs each is getting near 100lbs performance wise. The heavy front end plows enough as is...

My experience with solid front A arm bushings is big time harshness on street type roads, especially where winter includes snow, slush, salt, potholes, snowplows, etc.

Now if they're used for track duty, that's a completely different story. Heim joints or solid AL or steel bushings have no road isolation. The only rubber would then be the upper strut mounts and the subframe. At least poly has a bit of give.....

What about durability testing? Will you be doing this BEFORE proceeding with sales?

Yes we will be doing plenty of testing before the product is released.

Now, I need to know who is SERIOUSLY interested, and for now we'll say the price will run $499 for the pair. It may change during production process.

So let me know if you're interested, if not let me know why you're not interested.

If these carry urethane bushings, I'm in, as my car is also my daily driver. I want stiffer, but not too stiff. I'd like to have some give in the bushings.

If these carry heim joints, I will have to wait and see how these progress because I don't want too harsh of a ride. The car will see some spirited driving and possibly an open track event or two, but not enough to constitute heim joints. Poly will be stiff enough for me.

I'm wondering if you can come up with urethane bushings for the stock arms as an alternative for some of us if you do produce these LCA's with heim joints.
