hahaha wtf.. dude read... I said "lets say I have ____ engine" man this is serious im not screwin around here. Sorry if it looked as if I said I had an engine... after I GET an engine I will have 750.... but before I will have 1500ish but I am confident I can have an engine for under 650. But whethere i have an engine or not right now isnt the issue... its the problems and things that must be done with the 2 differant engines I talked about the 2000 2.5 or the 03 3L... which one will require less work or if teh 3.0 isnt as complicated as it seems. Sorry again for any confusion.

The 97 engine in my car I refered to is BLOWN and needs replacement. I guess I thought it was clear. sorry!

Unless of course you swapped EVERYTHING from the 97 into a 95 chassis!

95-97 had the same fuel rail so that didn't change either.

Everything I posted is DEAD ON.

It certainly seems like you did absolutely NO research into what you got yourself into here.

Just get a used 2.5L, put it in, and be done with it!
That's my advice based on your posts!

He's not being a jerk he helped me through alot of crap on my 3l. I did either the 2nd or 3rd 95 3L and it was rough. It was a wiring nightmare if you wanna do it right. Its not somehting to cut corners on and do a budget project. If you want budget project put in a stock motor in it. Just in tuning alone you have close to 400, plus your fuel rail, injectors, maf, new gaskets, head hardware, timing components, and so on. I'm speaking from experience thats my pic you posted. It was a fun project while it lasted but died because I ran outta money and cut some corners in the end by not buying new lifters for the heads. Good luck if you do it. I'd never think of a 95 3L again personally and I've been through it. go 96+ parts cars are cheap.

alright then I guess I will go with a 2.5L [censored] it. I dont care anymore. I will buy a race car later. thanks. Any recomendations? The car is set up for a 97 engine right now... I imagine it would be best to just put another 97 in it... but what if I find a deal on a 2000? all apples I would imagine. But I suppose I should look more on engine differrances.
