Yes, the Ford Service Manual does a good job; shows where harnesses are, and what is connected. You won't find that level of detail on the web.
Get yours on CD from todras (see his ad in the CEG classifieds). Well worth $8 (I just - finally - got mine).

I had a mystery leak like this on my old 96 GL. It was just fine and dandy until we changed the timing belt (and changed the WP out, just to be safe). After that I had a mystery leak (system had good pressure) and one day it just overheated and the timing belt cover was spewing coolant from every crevis. Never overheated after that, but I could smell coolant and for some reason fans wouldn't kick on until it got right up to the red, then would cool off to the "A" or so. Never any leaks on the ground, though. Must have been evaporating off hot engine or something.

That is what is happening now, put card-board down under and can't find any leaks, but it is going somewhere.
