If you can't fit the baby's stuff in the trunk of a car there's a problem. That being said if your going down that road how about a Mazda 6 wagon or are you dealing with a tight budget? OMG thankfully someone else thinks along the same lines as me. How on earth did our parents ever manage to stuff 3 kids and two dogs and all the associated crap into the old 65 Valliant? Oh do remember these were the days when the folks had to take the dirty diapers back home to wash. How did we kids ever survive without DVD players or some other type of 7/24 entertainment?

Just pack the kid in the back with the hound, don't pack the house and carry on your merry way.
