I don't know why your getting different prices in Massachusetts from different companies unless you are a step nine, have anti-theft, multicar (or multiple policies)? The state sets the rate for car insurance. Here is a link for all of the Massachusetts rates (Each town is assigned a territory for garaging (your territory can be found under "Item 5, place of Principle Garaging" on your coverage selections page. It will list your town and a number from 01-27 (27 being the lowest territoy, then 01, 02, 03, 04, ending with the most expensive territory 26))):
