Since your SVT is in storage, that should save you some money. Have you suspended coverage on the SVT yet?
They can backdate it to the date of storage too if you haven't done so already.
This saves Mike and I a bundle. I know we don't live in MA, but I'd imagine it all works the same.
The cars are still protected from fire and theft.
Other ways we reduce our insurance is how we only insured the GL and Grand Marquis for liability, since the replacement value of the cars is so low, I wouldn't expect to receive much in the event they got totalled. (although full insurance on the truck didn't amount to much more than the GM, bleh).
Not sure if you'd be able to do this to your Taurus though because I don't know how MA works.
