I took the GL into the shop the other day to get the cooling system flushed out (previous owner decided to never change the coolant, so its like mud in there now)

Anyway, right away he's like, "oh, its a Contour, ya, they're nothing but problems. That was Fords world car (sarcastically). Im surprised its made it to 125,000 miles"

My response was that while Contours have their known quirks (especially the v6's from what Ive read), once you get through them, you've got a nice car thats really fun to drive. I told him that it would surprise me if this zetec car ran another 100k before it gives up.

Ive also let him do a little work on my mustang before, but after trashing the Tour, I can tell he just doesnt get it, and Im not sure hes going to get my business any more either.
