Wow. You're snooty about "SVT," and embarassed that you drive a Ford. The issue isn't "the haters," it's your own insecurities.

I drive a Contour and I'm proud of it. The fact that the huddled, addled masses don't understand it--well, that's their problem. I'm satisfied that people who know what they are talking about (auto journalists, car enthusiasts, racers) know this car.
