As far as years go.. I'm looking for something newer than 94 or 95, when most cars changed their body style.
I'd love to take a RWD car, 'cause there are so many gorgeous ones.. But FWD is so much more reasonable.
You can probably fit in a Prizm. I'm 5'11" tall, with a 30" inseam. (So I'm tall from the waist up) and fit in one quite fine.
Shoulder room is usually my issue in cars, and I fit quite nicely in the Prizm/Corolla.
So try it out. I bought one in 4/03 for $2500 and have put almost 50K miles on it since buying it. I've only done brakes, and other maintenance. It has one problem, a cracked exhaust manifold, but once it warms up, the crack seals and the car is quiet. It has 153K on it, and runs like new.
