Yes.

The split port LIM has the injector boss on the primary side.

The oval port uses a center injector boss.

To use one with the other you have to cut offset injector ramps in the head inlets. You also have to fill the existing center ramps or you will have 6 large intake leaks.


As for performance. It's a good as your design is for optimum fuel atomization and dispersion.
You can do it from crude cutouts to using flow design theory to dictate your overall port shape.
