^^ edited for consistency. Zen Micros and iPod Minis are roughly the same price; iPods run another $50+ (although you get far more for your money).

That aside ... do you have an aftermarket head unit? It may have an audio input in the rear that makes it easy to connect without messing around with FM signals (and usurping more battery life of whatever MP3 device you plan to use). My Alpine needed a $20 cable adapter because their input is not standardized but oftentimes others are simple plug-ins with RCA or minijack cables from, say, Radio Shack.
