If you are completly ditching the latch, get locking hood pins. I believe most autoparts places carry them, check around. Alot of the locking ones also have a lower profile and IMO look better anyway. Basicly all you need to do is decide on your under hood location, probably close to the adjustment bumpers and whre there is some bracing under the hood. Also find a spot where they will sit the most verticle. Once you decide where, transfer your local to the top side, tape the area so as not to rip apart the CF and double check, then drill. check out Stazi's car, I know he has pins.
