It is apparently the same in the 2004 GTO as well. The 6-speed does get better gas milage though(plus is alot more fun )

this just doesn't make sense to me.

how the hell can a 4-speed auto post better numbers than a 6-speed? They must've REALLY mucked up the 6-speed gearing. . .good review, could you post a pic of the new '05 GTO? I've seen "concept" pics, but not the real deal. . .

its all about the mustang

Unless you mean it's all about the Mustang in the GTO's rear view mirror.

and the mustangs $10,000 in your wallet!

Once again APPLES to APPLES here people. GTO's have no options while the Mustang has a long checklist. Equally equipped were only talking $3-5K, not $10K

When are you going to buy a GTO instead of posting something new about them every week? Maybe I'm not seeing what's so orgazmic about them

Opinions Opinions we all have one. Glad to see TR voicing his and educating other CEG'ers.

I'd rather get the Stillen front.

That Impulse Blue is nice.

If I had the $$$, with the power upgrade this year, I would consider the GTO. Last year's, no. But now the price vs. the performance fits, and could be considered a bargain in comparison to the Vette and the Caddy CTS-V.
