Searched and found nothing about doing it myself I have ported aluminum intake manifolds before, but not a head. I know to avoid going through the head into the oil/water passages, but I need more info. Like is it ok to completely polish the intake runners or should I leave them rough for turbulance? Open up the intake runners a lot and polish them? Open up the exhaust runners and polish them, polish the combustion chambers. Use some valve grinding compound to renew the seal of the valve to the valve seat and then have the head milled .040 to raise the compression ratio to 10.8:1. Replace the piston rings with total seal rings and replace the rod bearings as well. What do you guys think?
