Yeah, back in July, I asked STBXW if she minded if I dated. She said something pretty foul mouthed about her filing for divorce.

So when she came over and found the womans overnight bag here, STBXW was a bit mad. I asked her why the double standard.

Oh well. Let's just say I've been busier in the past 5 months than the entire 7 years I was faithfully married. I'm holding up to the expectations my name bring on, so 3 or 4 times in a single night is not bad work for a nearly 40 year old guy (with one testical too, FWIW)

So all is not bad on the divorce front. Still don't get to see my daughter enough, and have basically been reduced to a sperm donor and ATM machine for STBXW.

Enough thread jack, back to the menstral cycle, red wings, and gas cards.

The first court event it tomorrow. STBXW only gets what is standard Child Support in Illinois, nothing more. So we fight over access to our daughter and how the money and house gets split up.

The new woman is a firey red-head, educated, (nearly has her doctorate) with a zest for life and doesn't blame others (like STBXW) for where she is. She takes charge, is confident in herself, and is a couple years older than STBXW as well.

She challenges me, but in all the right ways, and I do the same for her.

Plus, she'll get under the car to help change oil, work on brakes, etc. We work well in the kitchen as well. In fact, it seems we work well everywhere, dinner, dating, she kicks my butt playing skee-ball, and I kick hers on all the driving games, go-karting, etc.

She has two really neat kids, and does well with my little girl as well. Plus, her background in social work/counselling helps give me insight into what is going on, so I've become a better dad from knowing her.

STBXW can have her half, her other man (father figure 52 years old) and the rest of her dysfunctional family. I'm done.

Gotta go to work,
