Me neither, but I can't seem to find one that ISN'T polished. At least part of the band isn't on this one. If there's one complaint about the watch, it's the polished SS.
As for titanium, sorry, Titanium feels cheap to me because it's so light compared to SS.
I've had a SS Seiko for over 5 years now without a complaint, and I don't mind the heavyness at all.
Kinetic and Eco-Drive I stay away from. Not reliable enough. I'll swap a battery every 3 years thank you very much.
ESQ was my other choice, but too classy and not enough sport. Wenger and Swiss army watches are nice as well, but I don't like the bands.
And as for that watch being just a 'regular' Seiko, it's not. Check the Sportura, Arctura and Coutura series out... Sure, it's still Jap movement, but I'm ok with that, I'm not trying to prove anything.
Retail on this Seiko Sportura is $3500. Basically, Sportura and Seiko is like Jaguar from Ford.

Oh and as much as I'd like a Tag or a Breitling, I'm not spending that much on a watch to see it gets scratched up and beat to [censored] at work.
If I wore a suit to work, then I wouln't think twice.

Mmmmmmmm.... Rado.
To hell with Movado... damn wanna-be's!;)
Owning a fine watch is in the same mentality as owning a fine car or bike - yeah sure: Something cheaper can get you from A to B, but having something with a little panache behind it just feels right. And with watches, you don't have to be a rap star or sports figure to get into it - for the most part.

FWIW my Seiko Kinetic has been ticking along for about 6 years now...
I started to buy an orange-faced, Tag Heuer F1 Chrono back in 2000, but bought a Contour instead!

In retrospect, it was all downhill from here. RIP, CEG.

I have been looking for black Ceramic Rado watches. I love the slick all black design. I saw one in Switzerland and it was one of the nicest looking watches I have ever seen. Perhaps this Christmas I will make trip

Word. I've got a Citizen Eco Drive Titanium with the Perpetual Calender. It's made pimp.

I prefer the other Swiss watch manufacturer that starts with "R"...
Rolex ain't cheap, but they are damn-near bulletproof. They build their Oyster line to LAST, and last it does. I've got 2 decades on a Submariner that was passed down to me and an Air King that has taken a year's worth of beatings through daily use. I fully expect both to outlast my existance on this planet...
They've got nice, classic-looking dress/dinner watches out now as well that don't exactly break the bank (Cellini collection).
I'm more into the traditional look. Rado is just too avant-garde for my tastes, plus I'd shred one up in a matter of months as a daily timepiece.
The last Seiko I wore lasted 8 years and took a beating. It was definitely worth the price paid for it. They are one of the few Japanese watches that I would put money into.
