Sorry if I missed this one earlier, but I bought my wife the ST200 upper and lower intakes (arriving in a couple of days). The car is a '98.5 SVT with the return fuel system. Are there any problems with swapping the return fuel log and injectors onto the ST200 manifolds that I need to be aware of? What special tool is needed for releasing the injectors?

Performed the transplant already and no special tools were used. Straight swap.

Very kind of you buying your wife all that laugh

I can confirm that other than replacing the fuel rail & injectors, everything else was easy. You will need the fuel pipe disconnectors though, 1/2" and 5/8" ones.

Just remember to take care not to drop anything down the head ports while the manifold is off and the injector harness is dangling over the holes, those spring clips on the injectors are just waiting to fall in there!

I used lots of masking tape to cover the inlet ports, better to be safe than sorry!

Took me 4 hours with cleaning the upper intake, I also ground down the lower butterfly screws. Well pleased with the results, well worth the money.

Good luck,
Paul

Sorry no special tools are needed to release the injectors, a screwdriver to rlease the spring clip and a pire of long nose pliars to remove it. The injectors simply pull out, don't forget new O rings!
