I have my old 2.5 litter block with no heads...im looking to dispose of it but im not sure where i can. If i can sell it to a junk yard or as scrap metal, i would do that...im moving out of my current appartment and need to get rid of it asap!!!!!!

Call the junkyards in Milpitas off Old Oakland Rd. Check Pick & Pull, they are pretty ghetto.
What does your dealership do with all of there scrap metal....... ask the guy/company who picks it up?

We ahve a scrap metal pick up, but they only pick up old wheels and Cat converters, not motors....and all BMW motors, get sent back to BMW, so we have no outside source to pick them up.
I will call pick and Pull, and a couple other places and see...thanks chris!

Let me know if you can't find somewhere to get ride of the motor. I know a hazmat guy in Livermore. He does that kind of stuff also. He is one of my Vendors i deal with at work. he picks up my oil filters and sludgy oil.
