I was wondering how long it would take someone to make the 'They're going to do it anyways' argument. They're going to smoke pot, tobacco, and drink anyways, but I don't see us handing out pipes, papers, and beer glasses in school.

Teach the consequences. I personally think it's appropriate for schools take a realistic approach to safe sex (i.e. they're probably doin' the hibbity dibity, so let's at least provide some education about it) if the parents aren't stepping up and doing it on their own.
Perhaps it should be a community based decision?
