If the government wants to cut down on STDs and teen pregnancy then perhaps it should inform the teens about how STDs are spread and how pregnancy occurs, not tell them not to have sex and you'll be cool. Teen will learn about sex one way or another, I know when I learned about it I got really wrong information. Why make sex something mysterious that teens have to guess at; that is why let them guess at what is safe and what is not? Who is to say the parents have the right education anyway? Shouldn't a state institution like school educate teens with the right info, that way we can make sure they have the correct information?
