Which would you rather do- swear and pull and yell to get the PCV valve out, or sit in a waiting room, drinking coffee and reading a magizine? I like working on my car too, but even I have my limits.

I took mine to Zip Lube, asked if they would change it. The guy said "easy job, $10 and 5 minutes and you will be good to go."

It took 3 guys, 1 under the car, and 2 on top, cussing, screaming, and 15 minutes to change it. Still only cost me $10 and the guy swore he would never change a PCV on a Contour again. Went there the other day with a friend to get his oil changed, noticed the guys that changed it the last time were no longer working there, so since its due to get changed again, Im gonna see if I can sucker the new guys into changing it for me

That's a good story with a happy ending!

I'll tackle mine when the snow is gone and I can get it up on blocks and crawl underneath it. I wish I knew if it had EVER been changed. No record of it being changed in the repair records I have and 162,000 miles is a LONG run on the original.....
