I have yokohama 225/45/16 with Koni and Roush lowering springs. Never ever rubbed with this setup.
The tires are meant for 7" wide wheel, but I figured the gov't wouldn't notice if I put 'em on a 6.5" wheel.
I still get 30+ mpg on the highways.
