OK Rara,
I'm biased and have formulated a strong opinion based on many subjective points.
The CA car sales number I provided for the 3-series (10th best seeling car in CA) and the Mustang within the top-ten was from 2002. Was reported in the Mercury News in our Friday Auto section a great while back but I searched for a link and found nothing.
My mind is like a vault so I am sure my figure from memory is correct. Because yes, the Mustang in the top-ten stood out to me.
My brother is a subscriber to Ward's as he is a PE/ME/EE and a member (elected officer) of SAE so I will ask him to see if he can dig through some old issues and see if they give state-wide sales figures (Found nothing in Google). Love reading his old Ward's as the insight into the AI is great compared to the car rags.
I read yesterday the YR to YR Mustang sales were only up 19% for the month of Nov. I expected a much larger gain as the '05 was was released last month. I see large discouns coming and we already have V6 '05 Stangs discounted $1K in the local paper.
What blew me away was that 70K TL's have been sold making the Acura TL the best selling midisze luxury vehicle. And I thought those things were just popular around here!
(And yes, I'm trying to change the subject

)
