My Contour was crazy unpredictable with the factory Firerocks... Sometimes the rear would slide around, sometimes the front would slide out from under it. Ad in some Forestone Winterfires and suddenly it became a nice winter driver.
Winter tires are so much better than they used to be... Used to be you could only run them on the drive wheels and they made your car ride like a lumber wagon... Gone are the days... Boy, time is fun when you're having flies... or something...
