are yours 2 or 4 bolt, because if they're 2 bolt doing what you did kills the safety of having the bolts inserted from the top, if a nut comes off, say good bye if your bolts are in upside down.

What is unsafe about it? The bolts are torqued pretty tight, it's not as if the nut is going to come screaming off. And if it does, you are going to hear some loud knocking as soon as the nut no longer provides at least 20-30Lbs pressure against the subframe. Not even considering the fact that it's a compression nut, and holds torque against the bolt itself.

Nothing unsafe there. Might be nice to have all bolts and nuts vertically oriented for great safety, but it just does not happen. Think about all those subframe bolts pointing down! Yikes!

A-arm bolts pointing down for five years and going strong!
