Yes, but we're talking stock vs. stock here. Brembo's are stock on some of the G35 packaged cars. One could just as easily install cross drilled or slotted rotors on the the G35 with Wilwood calipers and SS lines and end up with a much better braking system than the stock Brembos...

I've driven the G35 Coupe 6spd with the Sports Package (Brembo's etc.) and the brakes certainly are very nice.

I'm merely saying that the SVT, being a 10 year old design and available for about one-quarter the price of a G35 can be made to handle itself very well on a dollar-for-dollar basis .
I think that's one of the SVT's great appeals. For me, at least, price enters into almost all of my buying decisions. If it wasn't an object/obsticle then my garage and driveway would look considerably different.
