Haroon, I've driven the G35 Coupes and been on the track against them as well. They are, indeed, a very nice car. Very much like ours would likely be performance wise if Ford had continued and expanded on the original concept.

Regarding the Brembo brakes, my 98 SVT actually had as good if not better brakes than the G35 Coupe Brembo setup. KVR slotted rotors, with Mintex 1144's and AeroQuip lines. Now if only I could afford to put a Wilwood setup on there'd be no contest . The SVT can be modded to out perform the G35 in everyway for less than the price of a new G35. You'd still have a 5-7 year old car but one heck of a lot of fun.

I know the G35, WRX, RX8, M3 guys were all very curious about my SVT when I'm out running with and passing some of them on the track I think some were a little pissed that an old four door Ford was passing them. I don't have the HP (yet) to pass the G35's when they're being driven hard.

Regards, Alan

thats sweet dude, but I don't know, those brakes felt really responsive and extremely smooth, but maybe thats just me. I guess driving a different car and knowing it has brembo's kinda gets to ya lol

Don't get me wrong, the G35 brakes are great, it's just that the SVT brakes can easily be made as good or better using the right parts.

Mine are smooth and extremely responsive. I've had two performance driving instructors, that also Road Race and Auto-X reguarly, comment how they loved the "right now" feel and strength of my brakes. Alot of that is from the Mintex 1144 pads.

actually he's now in Bentley College doing business (car is at home) he's a smart kid and ever since he was in high school, his parents told him to work hard and get a 1400 on his SAT's, they'll buy him any car. He wanted the STi, but his dad thought it was ugly so they setlled for the skyline GT-R
