I have the stock radio. The up volume side of the button is stuck in. This sent the volume to the max position until I shut the car off. Now, it's stuck in the down volume position with no chance to adjust the volume, change the stations or do any other function for that matter. I haven't taken the radio apart yet. Anyone have any experience with this? It would suck to lose my radio.

Sounds like you have two practical choices. Either go to a junk yard and find a similar radio and make the swap, or buy a new unit and install it. Trying to troubleshoot the switch is difficult, and finding parts to replace it wouldn't be worth the trouble.

take the radio out and see what is causing the problem??
is it the plastic front plate binding into the push button??
if so then adjust the front plate... if not then remove the front plate and go to radio shack and buy a $3.95 can of
electrical contact cleaner and spray the volume control and see if it works now, dont reinstall the radio, just attach the electrical up and move the vol. control back and forth to see if it works.. if you need a new(another) radio you can go on E-bay and get a stock ford radio for about $12.00
and shipping.. hope this helps.

punch it..I punch mine all the time  piece of crap..all the preset buttons are broken now...haha  no worries I got a good cd player comming

Just got a new Pioneer system put in to replace the POS stock system. Everything works on it except for the display...figures it's made in Brazil.

walmart has a deal on a pioneer stereo cd player 160 watts comes with 4 6 1/2 inch speakers that are a 100 watts all for 98.48. i just got it and it actually sounds good.
