Just curious as to what some suggestions would be for upgrading the rear stock speakers. I have JL evolution's (TR570-Cxi's) in the front and am really pleased with them.

I was just going to stick with the stock in the back figuring it wouldn't make that much of a difference to replace them, but once I took the subs out for the winter...it seems like it would make a world of difference. Open for any suggestion, thanks in advance.

Why would you want to take your subs out? :confizzled:

I think the temperature in the winter could harm them, but then again what do I know?

then again, if you're just worried about that, how about turning the amp off for the winter?

in either case, buy some random pioneer 5x7/6x8s and call it a day

I take mine out in the winter when it starts hitting below -20C. Frankly, it's hard on the HU, and really whren it gets cold enough the subwoofer basically becomes frozen in place, all the moving parts like the surround and spider are frozen stiff so the sub has almost no output anyways. By the time it starts to warm up you're already at your destination.
