NGK is on its game. Took one day to get back to me. Autolite is at 3 days and counting.

Anyway, here is the email I received:

The coldest iridium spark plug in this design is a TR55IX. If your wanting to drop one heat range you'll have to use the TR6 stock number 4177. You won't be able to gap this particular spark plug to factory specs.

TR6 is a resistor V-Power plug (single Plat AFAIK). The racing plugs I mentioned are 8, 9, and 10 heat ranges - WAY too cold (NGK # goes up as the range gets colder). I asked what the gap was (if non adjustable) or max gap (if adjustable).

I think I'm going to give them a try (if the gap is reasonable). Anyone know the best place to get NGK plugs?

BTW, chknhwk, no oil pan gasket as of lunch. You'll be my hero if we can use your garage 2 weekends in a row (if it doesn't show up this afternoon). Watch, it'll come tomorrow.
