Most spark plug mfgs use the nuber within the plug # as the heat range ,Champion,NGK but some use their own code,for example Champion go from 51(cold/hard plug) to 69 (hot/soft plug).To comape on physical check refer to the OEM plugs, you cancheck/measure the amount of ceramic insulation that is exposed inside the part of the plug that goes into the cylinder.........
