I agree with that. My Bosch +4's caused me to ping under acceleration in the summer. The stock plugs did not. After about 15K miles I took the plugs out and the electrodes were being eaten away. This was on a completely stock car at the time. I used a new set of motorcraft double platinums and I'm not sorry...little to no pinging this summer.
