This seems appropriate for this thread...

A young man named John received a parrot as a gift. The parrot had a bad attitude and an even worse vocabulary. Every word out of the birdâ??s mouth was rude, obnoxious and laced with profanity. John tried and tried to change the birdâ??s attitude by consistently saying only polite words, playing soft music and anything else he could think of to â??clean upâ? the birdâ??s vocabulary.

Finally, John was fed up and he yelled at the parrot. The parrot yelled back. John shook the parrot and the parrot got angrier and even ruder.

John, in desperation, threw up his hand, grabbed the bird and put him in the freezer. For a few minutes the parrot squawked and kicked and screamed. Then suddenly there was total quiet. Not a peep was heard for over a minute.

Fearing that heâ??d hurt the parrot, John quickly opened the door to the freezer. The parrot calmly stepped out onto Johnâ??s outstretched arms and said â??I believe I may have offended you with my rude language and actions. Iâ??m sincerely remorseful for my inappropriate transgressions and I fully intend to do everything I can to correct my rude and unforgivable behavior.â?

John was stunned at the change in the birdâ??s attitude. As he was about to ask the parrot what had made such a dramatic change in his behavior, the bird continued, â??May I ask what the turkey did?â?

The weather is turning out to be a b!tch this year...

Wife's boss just totalled his 760i (no injuries) heading North from KC. We got 3 inches of snow last night and it seems the first one brings out accidents like crazy.

I've also got friends that were stranded in DFW last night due to thunderstorms over the airport and some being delayed like crazy out of the East Coast.

If you travel, be SAFE!

Have you ever had egg nog ice cream? AE dairy makes egg nog ice cream around here and there's one thing that makes it oooooooh so good (besides just eating it by itself).

A couple of scoops of egg nog ice cream in a glass, 2-3 shots of bourbon (or whiskey if you prefer) and one shot of rum. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg to taste... I call it my "escape from holiday family members float". Remember... every family has someone they don't like to hang around with except on the holidays. If you don't know who it is, it's you!!!

I try to not get so much alcohol on every bite so as to have a nice melted liquor creme nog left in the bottom of the glass when I'm done.

Thank You for your sacrafice in order to defend us, and please make sure you are safe this Holiday.
