I can argue a similar point as you, why bother putting a better y-pipe on the car and keeping a stock exhaust?

Just because someone choose to do the cheapest and easiest exhaust mod first, does not mean it's pointless.

Prove to me that changing the resonator, then the rear mufflers, then the y-pipe on the SVT is not an ideal mod progression, as that it the most common path most people make, only realizing gains the through each step.
