Eibach's gave me ~1.75" or more drop...NOT 1.2" - 1.3"

Scott

I'm still not gettin this. I have Eibach's and Bilstein's. If I look into the wheelwell, the top of my front tire is exactly 2" below the fender lip. Yours looks much less--what is it? I will end up with H&R's in the front and Eibach's in the rear. My tires are 215/45-17's.

It's called :

different lighting
different angles
different tires
different wheels

My car looks like Scott's and yours at times. Sometimes it's noticeable, sometimes it looks perfect. The angle (visual and ground level), wheel position, and lighting (direction and intensity) are all KEY to the look at a particular time.

Steve, yeah they are 17's. i think the reason it looks so low is because of the splitter, it's only 3" from the ground up front. It really helps with the appearance.

I don't have decent pictures right now but I will take some soon. I have Eibach springs w/ Bilstein struts and the BAT camber kit up front. My car does look like it sits a tad higher in the front than in the rear, but it rides GREAT.

What's in your trunk? 50lb's of amps and subs? There is nothing in my trunk but a rear strut tower brace. Maybe you put the wrong springs on the front and rear While I don't think that is possible...maybe not really what you thought you got.

Scott

I may have a sub box, 2 subs, and a couple of amps, but I'm not talking about the rear. I'm talking about the front and I'd really like for you to measure the distance from the front fender lip to the top of the tire. If you would be kind enough to indulge me, I'd appreciate it. If it's just lighting, angles, shadows, etc, I'd like to know for sure. And most people would know the difference between the front and rear springs, myself included and Stazi who installed everything.

I'll measure mine also when I have a chance to park on a level surface. Try to measure fender to tire and fender to hub just to factor in tire size differences....

How about a picture so I know visually what we're talking about. And refresh me, what are you using? I've got Eibach's/Bilsteins with 215/45x17 rubber. Measurements are: 2" fender lip to top of tires and 14 1/2" fender lip to center hub. Thanks.

Eibachs are NO WHERE NEAR close to H&R's in the performance category.

Eibachs are designed as a drop spring that retains a fair amount of ride quality. They are not a "performance" spring. They are very good quality springs.

However the Eibachs for our platform give the car that butt fugly ass sag look.

I have H&R's with Bilsteins.
