i got in on the group buy for H&Rs. then, i see someone posting a pic that they will make the car look raked. i have been thinking over the two before but have not even heard of this nor did i notice this. I tried doing a search of H&Rs but came up with only a few pics, out of the millions of thread results. some of the cars didnt seem raked. i do NOT want my car to look raked. it doesn't look bad its just not for me. apparently, the eibachs will be level? if i decide to go with eibach, there are plenty of people who would gladly take my spot on the H&R GB. it's a great deal!

can people pleeeeaase post pics of csvts that are have eibach or h&r so i can compare them side by side. also, would shocks, stance/looks wise, make a difference at all? please tell what springs, shocks, and size of wheels when posting.

hey, its free-whoring time!

Eibach's with 17 x 7 in. Focus SVT wheels and Continental ContiSport Contact 215/45WR-17 tires, stock SVT Struts (Koni's go on in the Spring)

Eibach's gave me ~1.75" or more drop...NOT 1.2" - 1.3"

An "optimal" setup for LOOKS only wold be H&Rs up front with Eibachs out back. Other than that, these two springs create two different looks. Steve, you saw my car at the track, I have Eibachs. Did you notice any rear end sag look? At times it's noticeable, but most of the time it's not. Also depends on if you want springs for performance or looks. H&Rs are recommended for performance while Eibachs are more for looks, respectively.

I had Eibachs with Konis and the car stayed flat in hard turns. It was used for AutoX before I got it so assume the Eibachs do just as well as the H&Rs if not better. I did notice the sag in the back, but it was not so evident unless you were looking for it.

just because it was used in auto-xing before you got it doesn't mean that Eibachs are better than H&Rs....

I'm still not gettin this. I have Eibach's and Bilstein's. If I look into the wheelwell, the top of my front tire is exactly 2" below the fender lip. Yours looks much less--what is it? I will end up with H&R's in the front and Eibach's in the rear. My tires are 215/45-17's.
