Are you saying you had 12.30 volts with the car running? Because if you did test it with it running and 12.30 is all your getting...then your battery is not your problem, its your alternator. With the car running and your voltmeter on the battery you should be getting 14.50 volts...and as you turn on accessories it drops slightly but never below about 13.0 volts so as not to discharge when your acc are on. Check it again...this time with car running and tell us what your getting...should be 14.50 volts when running.
