If you're going to buy new, get the WRX and quit [censored] footing about. The difference in payment is not all that much and trust me, a week after the "Wow, I've got a new car!" phase passes you'll hit the "Sh!t, I should've got the WRX! " phase

Now if you're talking about the old preUS-WRX, then sure get one, they're cool, but alas, they're two-doors like you don't want. The regional AutoX champion in the Detroit SCCa had one and was UNTOUCHABLE in STS.
