What do you guys think of these? They are running a 189 a month zero up front lease. I have my RSX but i'm a little worried about the winter plus I have a big servicing and tires to replace. I've driven the 2.5 and its pretty good but im not sure about long term experiences, relibility and etc.

Seem to be reliable, but why not just throw a set of snow tires on your RSX? I've been to Paoli - it ain't exactly the Yukon

I thought the Subaru 2.5RS was a 2dr? These are CLEAN cars if you purchase them that way. Everything is leather wrapped in the sport model and it has the nifty hood scoops like the WRX. I almost bought one when my Civic Si was stolen (Yes, I too was once a ricer)
But it was in Austin and Im too lazy to drive to Austin.
Also - get a Contour SVT!! Mine gets 27mpg and it has 119,000miles on it.

Yea pre Subbie WRX. They are 4 door with the current body style.

If you're going to buy new, get the WRX and quit [censored] footing about. The difference in payment is not all that much and trust me, a week after the "Wow, I've got a new car!" phase passes you'll hit the "Sh!t, I should've got the WRX! " phase Now if you're talking about the old preUS-WRX, then sure get one, they're cool, but alas, they're two-doors like you don't want. The regional AutoX champion in the Detroit SCCa had one and was UNTOUCHABLE in STS. Note: the first STi out of Subaru shared the same 2-door (only way it was available), body style. I remember seeing my first STi in Australia back in 98 and almost jizzing my pants. Sweetness!

They run about 3 tenths slower in the 1/4 than the CSVT on average and beat out the 2.5 SE. Pretty nice cars, but I would get a WRX or better yet an STi.
