Well mesh is generally see through.

Anyway the mesh is flattened so its wider looking and really shiny, so it's looks tight, and brighter than the other stuff I used before.

Here is a pic with a $1 note on it for size reference.

So, it looks like the hole in the mesh is about as big as George's head? I'll have to look at the stock mesh and compare it, but I think that's bigger than the look I'm looking for. Can you take a pic w/ the stock front oval Ford emblem as a reference? That may be a little easier to use in a comparison of new mesh and stock mesh. Did the supplier send the wrong mesh or are they out of your orignal??

They sent larger mesh than I was expecting, and it's cut into smaller sheets than the original 8' x 4' sheets. So they'll probably tell me to eat it if I asked them to take it back. My original supplier was out of the old stuff so I went with a company in Toledo and ordered the stuff over the phone.

I asked the guy the mesurements and he compfirmewd them with me, but I think they measure the actual opening size and didn't count in the width og the wire itself, hence why it's larger.

In all honesty though I think it'll look better than the original. I'm gonna make a new set for myself, regardless, as I like this mesh better than the other stuff. Like I said earlier, it's like you took the SVT mesh and squished it into a diamond shape rather the the square shape it is now.

I'll take a pic of the ring sitting on top of the mash to get an idea of what it'll look like when it's done.

Same here. I'm feeling a little iffy about what it's gonna look like.
