OK kids. Time to remove your oval grills and box them up. In the box include a money order for the correct amount as well as a piece of paper describing the exact kit you want, and your return address.

Send the pacakages to me at:

Roger,
Sounds like the same scenerio I had up at SZ04.. A robin flew into my lower grill and pushed it back a little.. After removing the bird and re-bending it back, it's as good as new.. Jim or Mikey Boy(whoever took the pic), if you read this, post a picture of the bird in my grill!

When is the deadline for sending them out... And i think you said we are looking at a 2 week turn around from when you recieve the oval.

I had a few other questions just out of curiousity.
Do you have the mesh in already? ANd where do you get the stuff? I'm just curious, you don't have to answer if it's some big secret!

I redid the oval with an expanded aluminum from Home Depot (think it was made for a storm door or something) and the bottoms look like a gutter guard or something but close to oval look.

However, I'm interested in this whole package, though I think I'd like to buy a oval rim on ebay for $28 or so, do those aftermarkets work? Could I have them ship it to you and then pay you with paypal when you received it for the $98?

Is there a bit more of a close up of the actual mesh being used?

Thanks, it does look good.

2 weeks is worth the wait. Driving around with no oval is definitely a crap feeling. But when you get it back you'll feel like a million bucks. And if your oval is painted, you may want to do as I did and put it in a pillow case or something soft so it isn't rattling against the other grills when he sends them back. Just looking out for the paint.

The grills need to be sent out by the end of next week, the latest.

I still need to go to the metal supplier to get the mesh, which need to be cut down to a managable size for me as it come in a 8'x4' sheet

Once 5 come in I will go buy the mesh as I'll need the money from you guys to do so. If you guys don't pony up and send in your ovals and money I'll send them all back.

This is a group buy - so lets keep it that way.

Thanks in advance,
Stazi

p.s. You can't buy this mesh from Home Depot, Lowes or any other mom and pop hardwards store. I get it from an INDUSTRIAL metal supplier in Detroit.

Okay there was 9 people on the list. SO there is no reason that we shouldnt be able to get 5 to send them in! So mine wil be out this weekend. I dont want to be driving around without the damn oval for 3 weeks only to find out that 5 people didnt come through!

So thats why we will start this oval sent out list! Once you send it sign it!

Does the Ford emblem get re-installed w/ the mesh? One pic had a SVT logo on the mesh, the other had nothing.

It depends what you want. I dont think it does but it wouldnt be hard to do it yourself. Stazi will chime in and verify that though.
