I didn't mean to sound like I was knocking the mesh that you use - if I did I'm sorry.
There is another designer at my office that has a metallic blue Jaguar XJR. The car has the polished S/S woven mesh grille with the body colour grille surround. Every time I walk past his car I am disappointed that Ford gave us the cheap plastic faux mesh grille with the chrome grille surround on the US (Mondeo) Contour while the rest of the world got the same high quality grille that they put in the Jaguar. If I am going to replace my grilles I intend to correct this insult at the same time.
My only consolation right now is that I have the better parking place! Seniority has its advantages.

How much is it for the Mesh alone? because first down here in miami there is no putting cars away for winter and second i already installed mesh in my bumpers and chrome ring its just that i dont like it i just want to buy the pieces so i can install them myself.

if i were to get this i would love for it to be flat black in color. anyone good with paint here? can i simply paint it with flat black paint? do i need to prep? what about using black primer (its flat)? does all powdercoating look flat afterwards? I love the way it looks stock but i dont like that its plastic. plus id love to have no emblem or have an svt emblem in the corner. this is way cool that you can make this stuff for everyone stazi, you tha man! can you make springs and struts too??

It would be simple... pick up a can of flat black spray paint from anywhere and put two or threee coats on them! Too Easy! I dont think powder coating is even worth it on grills... ?
