To be honest, the interior of the 6 is probably the main reason I decided to bypass it for another vehicle. I like the exterior, especially the 5 door, but found the interior to be semi-cheap feeling. It was no Ford Contour as far as cheapness goes, but I found the difference from Contour to 6 to be less drastic than from 6 to GTO.
