Honestly a hood cowl, and lowering springs would finish the look for me. Plus with the 05 gto coming with dual exhaust outlets, it wouldnt be that hard to switch it onto an 04. that would finish the look for sure.

If I only had the money, I'd spend $250/month on a '04 GTO lease and love my life.

Go drive one then come back and bad mouth it. It's a real performer - hence why they race the fuggen things in Australia!
ok i'm back...i have driven one and i still am not impressed...i can't get over the cavalier's older brother boring looks....the interior is nice i will admit, but that is about the only thing i liked....
and for it to have 100 hp more than my almost 10 yr. old mustang,it certainly didn't feel like it at all....only felt a hair quicker at best....so overall i am still totally unimpressed....

Probably because it was 100 times more refined. Driven a BMW with good power? Same effect.

Technically the '04 GTO already has a true dual exhaust - they just come out the same side. I agree though, a SPLIT dual exhaust (maybe chrome) would be much better.

I happened to jump right on that deal that they were giving. I'll be honest, I wasn't feeling the styling enough to buy one at first, then you drive it and it's awesome! Gas milage wise I'm getting roughly 18 mpg avg. with mixed. If it's just city like 16 and just highway roughly 23. It's fast as [censored] in my opinion and there is a good chance I'll get out of my lease early and try and get an 05, might as well, 50 more hp.

I don't really care for the GTO. I was looking at one when I was deciding on which car to buy a few months ago, but the styling just didn't do it for me.

no actually it just isn't much quicker...my stang runs low 14's with a 14.1 being the fastest to date,so it isn't the refinement,it just isn't much quicker....speaking that most gto's barely dip into the 13's.......

MT got 13.6 out of a 2004, and i dunno about you, but i consider half a second to be "much quicker"... not to mention many people are getting 13.2's and 13.3's out of them bone stock.
02 Mustang GT... Tuned by Nelsons. Low 12's, anyone?
